The Treasury Department has been hitting the road this summer to sell-slash-prepare small businesses for a new type of database designed to crack down on shell companies.
Today, that show is rolling into Columbus, Ohio, courtesy of Democratic Rep. Joyce Beatty. It's the latest sign that years after the enactment of the Corporate Transparency Act, lawmakers are still doing whatever they can to make beneficial ownership reform a reality.
