Medicaid changes that House Republicans have been considering could leave millions of people without health insurance coverage, according to a new CBO analysis.
The nonpartisan budget office says that options like instituting per capita caps for the Medicaid expansion population and blocking provider taxes would lead to Medicaid recipients losing health coverage. CBO also says these moves would save hundreds of billions of dollars in federal spending.
