Jim Jordan dishes on what to expect from new Jan. 6 subcommittee

The House has a new Jan. 6 select subcommittee. The Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) led effort will “continue House Republicans’ investigation into all events leading up to and after January 6,” according to Speaker Mike Johnson.

But this panel won’t be a standalone effort. It will be part of Rep. Jim Jordan’s House Judiciary Committee, expanding the Ohio Republican’s already substantial power base inside the Capitol.
