Speaker Mike Johnson is still searching for a way to reopen the House floor.

His move today was posting a statement on X from President Donald Trump, claiming the president has reversed course and no longer backs Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s (R-Fla.) effort to institute proxy voting for new and expectant parents.
