Special election for Sherrill’s seat set for April 16

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, scheduled the special election to replace former Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-N.J.) for April 16.

The special primary for the safely Democratic seat in northern New Jersey is on Feb. 5.
