Norcross remains in intensive care

Rep. Donald Norcross (D-N.J.) is facing an “extended recovery” and remains in intensive care due to a gallbladder infection that resulted in a sepsis infection, according to a new statement.

The New Jersey Democrat was admitted to the hospital last week after suffering a medical emergency in North Carolina that was “likely related to his gallbladder,” according to his office. Norcross has been hospitalized at Cooper University Health Care in Cherry Hill, N.J., since April 7. Norcross, 66, was first elected to the House in 2014.
