Jordan responds to Willis’ ‘baseless’ opposition to requests

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) speaks during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing with Internal Revenue Service whistleblowers on the Biden criminal investigation on Capitol Hill.

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) defended his probe of former President Donald Trump’s prosecution to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, accusing her of using her office for fame and political advancement.

Jordan said the concerns that the Judiciary Committee is interfering in the investigation are “baseless.” The Ohio Republican added that Willis’ refusal to comply with his investigation only reinforces that the committee should be probing bias in the justice system.
