Senate border talks could restart today, but major hurdles remain

Senate Republicans are expected to present Democrats with a new proposal on asylum and parole restrictions to deal with the migrant crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. This is the latest effort to restart negotiations that can unlock President Joe Biden’s foreign-aid request.
