Senate organizes for 119th Congress. And a Friday vote?

The Senate took its first step toward kicking off the 119th Congress by passing the organizing resolution on Tuesday afternoon.

The resolution formalizes committee assignments for both parties under the new 53-47 GOP majority.

There are some notable changes, although no surprises.
