Carr defends push to end corporate DEI

Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr and House Democrats clashed Wednesday over the legality of the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on corporate diversity programs.

Democratic Maryland Reps. Steny Hoyer and Glenn Ivey asked Carr whether there was any “factual basis” behind his probe into Verizon’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
