The Senate Homeland Security Committee in September will mark up the reauthorization of a critical cybersecurity law that is set to lapse on Sept. 30, the panel’s chair told us Thursday.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), the committee’s chair, had been mostly quiet about his plans for the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015, which generated massive concern from companies who were worried about the law expiring.
