AT&T’s Stankey slams broadband delays

AT&T CEO John Stankey says he wouldn’t have pushed for the Commerce Department’s broadband buildout program if he knew how long it would take to work.

Stankey recently sat down with us for a wide-ranging interview, and we brought our tech subscribers his views on taxes, tariffs, spectrum, the Federal Communications Commission and DEI this past weekend.

He had a lot more to say, though, including about the slow rollout of the Biden-era Broadband Equity Access and Deployment program.
