Scale’s Wang wants government data readied for AI

News: The House Energy and Commerce Committee has just advanced the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which curbs deepfake nudes online, after a series of amendments. The final tally was 49-1.

Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang will tell a congressional panel Wednesday that the United States should prepare a national reserve that includes “all relevant government data” to help beat China in the artificial intelligence race.

The United States Government is already one of, if not, the largest producer of data quantity and diversity in the world,” Wang is prepared to tell a House Energy and Commerce hearing, according to a copy of his opening remarks shared with us exclusively.
