New: President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador said he’s not planning on returning Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States.
In a bizarre exchange with reporters in the Oval Office as he was meeting with President Donald Trump, Bukele claimed, “I don’t have the power to return him to the United States,” when asked about Abrego Garcia’s status.
“How can I return him to the United States? Can I smuggle him into the United States?” Bukele said. “How can I return a terrorist to the United States?”
