House Democrats aren’t going to bail out Speaker Kevin McCarthy. During a closed-door meeting on Tuesday morning, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries encouraged his caucus to vote to oust McCarthy.
Jeffries also “definitively” called for a vote against any procedural motions to delay the motion to vacate, according to a source in the room.
