FCC nominee set to be confirmed

The Senate is expected to confirm Olivia Trusty this afternoon to serve as a member of the Federal Communications Commission, giving Republicans a 2-1 majority at the regulator.

Trusty’s confirmation will allow the FCC to start implementing key parts of President Donald Trump’s telecom agenda.
