Scalise unloads on parliamentarian

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise unloaded on the Senate parliamentarian this afternoon, hinting that the chamber’s non-partisan scorekeeper was treating the GOP unfairly.

“There are some odd things that dropped out,” Scalise said in an interview Thursday afternoon. “For example, there were some things that are in law because of budget reconciliation that the parliamentarians said can’t be undone in reconciliation. That makes absolutely no sense. So there’s some very questionable rules.”
