What Chair Hill has in store for Dodd-Frank

Republicans on the House Financial Services Committee aren’t done retooling the Dodd-Frank Act.

Crypto policy might be the House’s main event this week, but it won’t be the only one. The Financial Services panel hosts a full committee hearing on Tuesday with a look back on 15 years of Dodd-Frank.

This deregulation push has marched forward quietly in the 119th Congress. But Tuesday will give Washington its fullest look at what congressional rollbacks of post-financial crisis rules and other powers may look like under the second Trump administration.
