House China Committee Chair John Moolenaar (R-Mich.) said today he’d be "conducting full oversight" of President Donald Trump's TikTok deal and made clear he’s worried about how the transaction handles the app’s algorithm.
Moolenaar is requesting an “urgent briefing” from the administration and plans for a hearing with the app’s new owners – an unusual promise by a GOP committee chair to scrutinize the Trump White House.
