Indiana GOP punts redistricting to December

Indiana Republican legislators are pushing off their redistricting special session until December, delaying a potential high-stakes standoff over the White House’s campaign for new congressional maps.

GOP legislative leaders, Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray and House Speaker Todd Huston, announced today that they’re planning to take up redistricting during the first two weeks of December. They expect to wrap up work by Dec. 12.
