Portal: Lawmakers, hemp lobby seek to undo McConnell victory

The hemp battles are starting up once again, this time to undo Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) big win in November.

All sides of the hemp lobby have been gearing up over the past month to deal with the ban on intoxicating hemp that Congress passed as part of the November funding package. Some marijuana and industrial hemp stakeholders are trying to get Congress to pass a delay of the measure, so farmers can have more time to adjust to new rules.
