DORAL, Fla. – President Donald Trump told House Republicans that the war in Iran will only be “a short-term excursion” as he tries to tamp down fears of a drawn-out Middle Eastern conflict.
Trump said that if it weren’t for him, Israel would be wiped off the map and U.S. interests in the region would be at risk.
“It’s going to be finished pretty quickly,” Trump said of the now 10-day campaign.
