Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen said on Monday he could not allow Democrat Cindy Burbank to be placed on the Senate primary ballot because he believes she has no intention to serve.
Evnen was responding to a request from the Nebraska GOP to block Burbank from running. Democrats will surely appeal his decision in court.
