House Intelligence Committee members pressed senior Trump administration officials Thursday on everything from the Iran conflict to the looming extension of a key surveillance authority to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s activities in Georgia.
It was the second appearance this week by senior Trump intelligence officials, including Gabbard, FBI Director Kash Patel and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, before a congressional intelligence panel on worldwide threats, a session that occurred amid the escalating Middle East conflict.
