Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas) sees a lot he likes in President Donald Trump’s $1.5 trillion defense budget request — and he’s hoping to use his piece of the NDAA pie to bolster servicemember quality of life and military recruitment.
Fallon, who chairs the Military Personnel panel, is jockeying to get those priorities into the annual Pentagon policy bill, which will be marked up by the full Armed Services Committee on June 4.
