Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s (R-Tenn.) big priorities for the 2025 tax fight are right in line with the GOP’s top goal: making the Trump tax cuts permanent.
But Blackburn, one of the newest members of the Senate Finance Committee, is stepping up to champion some other issues that could find their way into the tax debate, such as a program created in 2017 to spur investment in distressed communities and incentives for employer-provided child care.
