Mike Rounds sounds objection to GOP spectrum plans

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) is highly skeptical of Republicans’ idea of making more spectrum commercially available in the party’s massive reconciliation legislation, highlighting an early challenge to getting this policy enacted through the party-line bill.

Rounds told us he’ll oppose any spectrum action that includes the 3.1-3.45 GHz segment, the much-coveted mid-band currently used by the Defense Department that many carriers and Republicans want to open up to commercial use.
