Here’s the list: → GM’s Mary Barra → Salesforce’s Marc Benioff → TIAA’s Thasunda Brown Duckett → Ford’s Jim Farley → Siemens’ Barbara Humpton → Cummins’ Tom Linebarger → HP’s Enrique Lores → Etsy’s Josh Silverman → Microsoft’s Brad Smith → Corning’s Wendell Weeks Attending from the White House: Biden, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo; National Economic Council Director Brian Deese; Jennifer Klein, co-chair and executive director of the White House Gender Policy Council; Gina McCarthy, the national climate adviser; Domestic Policy Council Director Susan Rice and Cedric Richmond, the director of the Office of Public Engagement. The BBB has been stuck in neutral since mid December, due to Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-W.Va.) opposition. The White House sees this as an opportunity to breathe some new life into the effort. They face stiff headwinds. Here’s what a White House official said about the meeting:
