Vice President JD Vance gave a jolt to the stalled Indiana redistricting effort Friday when he huddled with reluctant Republican state lawmakers, pressing them to redraw the Hoosier State’s maps.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair, Sen. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) and Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.) joined Vance on the trip to Indianapolis, where they met with state senators and statehouse members separately. The vice president also met with Indiana’s GOP Gov. Mike Braun.
