PHILADELPHIA — The top two House leaders – Speaker Mike Johnson and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries – are following a familiar pattern these days. They’re hitting California, New York and Pennsylvania over and over again. These three states are ground zero for the battle of the House majority.

From the suburbs of Philadelphia to the Keystone State’s northeastern corner and everywhere in between, Republican and Democratic candidates and outside groups are pouring millions of dollars into House races here.
