Deflation nation: Producer prices shrank in December

New data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released today found that wholesale prices paid by U.S. businesses fell in December. That’s good news for Democrats desperate for voters to feel better about the costs of what they buy ahead of this year’s elections.
