LAS VEGAS — House Democrats are battling back against GOP efforts to sell the One Big Beautiful Bill to voters in Nevada.
In an early show of the midterm messaging war ahead, Democrats argued the bill will end up raising health care and energy costs due to deep spending cuts. And they’re not shying away from pushing back against the tax cuts that are among the most popular pieces of the GOP’s bill.
During a news conference at the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 headquarters, DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene said Las Vegas shows the “pain” the law will cause, pointing to cuts to clean energy subsidies, Medicaid and SNAP.
