W&M advances push to overturn EV credit rules

A bipartisan effort to topple the Biden administration’s new electric vehicle tax credit rules took a step forward, advancing through the House Ways and Means Committee today.

The Congressional Review Act resolution fell along party lines in the committee vote, but it’s got a strong chance of making it to President Joe Biden’s desk. For Republicans, it’s a chance to pin Biden on economic ties with China. Some Democrats are on board with fighting the administration on the EV rules too.
