House Dems want ‘clear and proactive’ comms on weed descheduling

News: Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) sent another letter to the Drug Enforcement Administration this week demanding better answers about the agency’s marijuana descheduling process.

The DEA is currently reviewing a recommendation from the Department of Health and Human Services that marijuana be removed from Schedule I, the federal government’s most restricted category of controlled substances.
