Former House Ways and Means Committee Chair Kevin Brady (R-Texas) is taking on a new role at lobbying powerhouse Akin as a senior policy consultant, the firm announced today.
It’s Brady’s latest move as he returns to work in Washington and carves out positions on tax, trade, health care and energy policy. It comes just in time for the Texas Republican to influence the future of the 2017 Trump tax cut law he helped write, and that’s a big part of his plans.
