Martin Gruenberg to step down after successor confirmed

Breaking news: Martin Gruenberg, the embattled chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., announced in a statement Monday afternoon that he was “prepared to step down” from the agency once a successor is confirmed by the Senate.
