McHenry talks goals for his crypto legacy

House Financial Services Committee Chair Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) has some big goals before he retires, including enacting stablecoin legislation and setting a legal definition for digital assets.

These have been longtime priorities of the North Carolina Republican, and he emphasized the importance of acting on crypto for his own legacy during a fireside chat Tuesday morning at the Bitcoin Policy Summit.

McHenry, an industry ally, offered conference-goers this list of crypto priorities for the months he has left atop the Financial Services panel:
