One-on-one with Sherrod Brown

There are few lawmakers we write about as often as Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio).

He is one of the Senate’s most prominent liberals and chair of the Senate Banking Committee. His reelection campaign is one of 2024’s most closely watched races with the Senate majority on the line.

Brown is generally presented in one of two ways in national media — either as an ill-fated campaigner in a red-turning-redder Ohio, or as a committee heavyweight in banking as well as on the Senate Finance Committee.
