State regulators have their own stablecoin worries

News: State bank regulators have concerns about the Senate’s approach to stablecoin reform, according to a letter we reviewed.

The Senate Banking Committee received a letter from the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, dated March 11, that said state bank officials were concerned that the GENIUS Act did not do enough to address consumer protection and market stability risks.
