Tether makes landfall amid Senate’s stablecoin sprint

The CEO of the world’s largest stablecoin company is capping his first U.S. trip as Washington rumbles to life in crypto policy. Paolo Ardoino says Tether is ready to tell lawmakers its side of the story.

Stablecoins are in, and stablecoins are hot. The Senate Banking Committee advanced the GENIUS Act in a significant bipartisan vote on Thursday. The action isn’t lost on Tether. “You’ll see myself around much more frequently now,” Ardoino told us in an interview.
