Trump asks SCOTUS for Cook ouster

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to allow the White House to remove Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook from her job at the U.S. central bank.

The Justice Department filed an emergency request with the high court on Thursday. An appeals court ruled 2-1 against the Trump administration earlier this week.
