The ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee isn’t strictly happy with the Senate’s 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. But Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) says regardless of what happens next in the process, a housing bill is a housing bill.
“We have done everything that we could do to cooperate, both with the opposite side of the aisle and with the Senate,” Waters said in an interview Thursday. “We will do anything, and work with everybody, to move housing as an issue in this government.”
