GOP leaders targeted on Obamacare cliff

News: A dark money group is running ads in Republican leaders’ districts, urging them to extend a set of expiring Obamacare premium tax credits.

American Advancement Inc. is running spots in Shreveport, Alexandria, Monroe and Lake Charles, La., to pressure Speaker Mike Johnson; Sioux Falls and Rapid City, S.D., targeting Senate Majority Leader John Thune; Bangor and Portland, Maine, targeting Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Susan Collins (R-Maine); Clarksburg, W.Va., and Bluefield, W.Va., targeting Sen. Shelley Moore-Capito (R-W.Va.); Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska, aimed at Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska); and Jacksonville, Fla., to pressure Sen. Ashley Moody (R-Fla.).
