‘Crypto Week’ grounds the House to a halt

Maybe the real “Crypto Week” was the disruption we found along the way.

The House canceled votes tonight after a group of conservatives blocked floor action on much of the crypto industry’s legislative agenda.

“This is the legislative process,” Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters after the vote failed. “We have some members who really, really want to emphasize the House’s product, as you know.”
