Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) is preparing to unveil an Obamacare subsidy bill this week that he’s betting can finally unite backers of the expiring credits.
Fitzpatrick’s proposal is expected to extend the enhanced premium tax credits for two years, bar people making more than 700% of the federal poverty line from benefitting and allow open enrollment for Obamacare plans to last until April. It will also likely expand health savings accounts and crack down on pharmacy benefit managers.
