House Democrats are starting to seriously vet DNC chair candidates to determine who could best position the party ahead of the 2026 midterms.

At a forum held at the DCCC last night, roughly 90 caucus members heard from Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler, Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Chair Ken Martin and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley – all of whom are vying to lead the party’s national organization after a crushing defeat last election.
