Jeffries says Hegseth must follow Waltz ouster

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called on President Donald Trump to fire Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth after it was reported that National Security Adviser Michael Waltz is being forced out.

Jeffries called Trump’s choice of aides “the most incompetent administration ever assembled,” particularly when it comes to defense and national security. Jeffries added that Hegseth is “the most unqualified” defense secretary in U.S. history.
