Most rank-and-file members will be expected to chip in $165,000 in dues and raise $100,000 for the DCCC, according to a memo from House Democrats’ campaign arm. Members of exclusive committees — which are generally good fundraising perches — owe $275,000 in dues and a $300,000 fundraising goal.

Jeffries picks DelBene to lead DCCC for another term

DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene will lead the House Democratic campaign arm for another two years, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced Friday.

While House Democrats failed to win back the majority, DelBene’s leadership resulted in a net gain of two seats from where the party was after the 2022 midterms. Many lawmakers felt positive about the DCCC’s performance, given that Vice President Kamala Harris was resoundingly defeated and Senate Democrats lost seats.
