Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) has spent years sharpening his attacks on the crypto industry from his perch on the House Financial Services Committee. Now, the Massachusetts Democrat is about to put those skills to use in a much more prominent role.
Lynch is now the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee. He intends to be there for the long term. We expect that it will put the crypto industry in a tough spot as Lynch focuses on President Donald Trump.
“Trump said crypto is a scam until he got into the business,” Lynch said in an interview. “And now, the whole family’s in the business.”
