If former President Donald Trump wins next week, we’ll spend the next four years chronicling his relationship with Hill Republicans.

One recent episode shows that no matter how hard Republicans try to change Trump’s mind, Trump will largely just do whatever he wants. It’s a lesson Republicans were subject to repeatedly during Trump’s first term. Apparently, they will have to learn it all over again.
